Emilie (VCFA '15), together with her collaborators Nancy (cinematographer), John (VCFA '15, producer), and Rafael (VCFA '15, composer), discuss the details of working together on the creation and release of her film Moving Parts.

Rafael Attias is a multi-disciplinary filmmaker, professional designer, composer, curator, and educator. In 2015 he received an MFA in film from the Vermont College of Fine Arts. In 2011 he was the music composer for an art film collaboration with actor/director James Franco and sound designer Neil Benezra called 3 Bad Men. Most recently he completed a feature length experimental doc film titled My Emo Life.

He has served as the Program Director for Pixilerations, a yearly new media showcase that investigates the state of new media arts through installations, concert performances, and film/video screenings. His work has been shown in New York City, Miami, Providence, Cambridge, Montpelier, as well as Caracas, Venezuela and Dublin, Ireland.
